buon giorno a tutti.
dopo il consiglio di virus ho provato a usare testdisk su l’hdd e mi ha trovato qualcosa. cosa devo fare ora?

Dovresti avere la possibilità di scrivere un log dell’analisi, se si puoi fornirla?
Altra possibilità che hai dovrebbe essere quella di poter ripristinare la tabella delle partizioni. Puoi farlo, la cosa però comporterà un rischio in più di compromettere il disco, avendo però l’immagine salvata andrei tranquillo…

Scusami, il disco esterno è di 160GB giusto?
Il disco del tuo pc è di 80 giusto?
L’immagine che avevi creato era di 20GB giusto?

Non hai creato la copia perfetta del disco di origine, ovviamente perché non c’è spazio sufficiente…

Dal log comunque mi pare di capire che testdisk non è stato in grado di trovare una partizione valida da recuperare. Dalle schermate che ti presentava si evinceva la stessa cosa?

ciao, non mi sembra che tu sia in grado di arrivare al termine di questa operazione e soprattutto non è chiaro se questi files siano o meno importanti. In tal caso, prima di stressare il disco, bisogna calcolare le probabilità che il tuo fare porti alla perdita definitiva dei dati, proprio perché il problema che hai è sicuramente hardware. Le partizioni non spariscono da sole, nemmeno se le cancelli. Se ne vale la pena cerca un centro data rescue e fatti seguire.
