il comando di prima era un output vecchio ecco perché l’ho tolto.

No, devi creare una cartella di montaggio, poi montare il volume dentro lì, entrarci e poi vai a cercarti il log.
Così mi hai riportato nuovamente il log della live, l’hai eseguita senza montare il volume root del tuo sistema.

Gli altri non sono così gravi, puoi sistemarli dopo. Dobbiamo disattivare il servizio vmware.service o disinstallare direttamente vmware.
Lo hai installato da rpm?

  1. Possiamo provare a togliere il demone vmware.service da qui
  2. Per disinstallare vmware non ci basta montare i file, abbiamo necessità di chroot, quindi di un DVD.

Potresti provare a spostare il file vmware.service che trovi in:
/etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants
fuori da quella cartella e riavviare il PC.
Esempio:

# mv /etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants/vmware.service /etc/systemd/system

Al limite puoi sempre tornare indietro come abbiamo fatto ora.

Provo e vi faccio sapere :wink:

Non hai un dvd? Anche di una versione precedente?
Facciamo meno fatica a sistemare tutto. La notte non mi ha portato consigli e non so cosa hai nel frattempo disinstallato di vmware e cosa no.

sono riuscito ad accendere il computer tramite live cd (ed è da qui che sto scrivendo) purtroppo essendo studente fuorisede non ho i dvd qui…

Quando avvii il Pc seleziona il kernel con le frecce, poi premi “e”.
Ti si apre la parte di grub riguardo a quel kernel. Vai giù fino alla riga che finisce con rhgb quiet e forse hai anche la tastiera in quella riga.
Esempio:

linux /vmlinuz-3.7.6-201.fc18.i686.PAE root=/dev/mapper/vg_acer5720-lv_root ro rd.lvm.lv=vg_acer5720/lv_root LANG=it_IT.UTF-8 rd.md=0 rd.dm=0 SYSFONT=True rd.luks=0 rd.lvm.lv=vg_acer5720/lv_swap KEYTABLE=it rhgb quiet 3
Lascia uno spazio e aggiungi “3” senza virgolette.
Premi F10 per partire con il boot.
