l’avvio in terminal-mode è puramente casuale, ovviamente un motivo c’è e potrebbe bennissimo dipendere dalla scheda video.
Ho provato Alt-F7 da terminal-mode e riesco a passare in modalità grafica senza ulteriori problemi.
Di seguito il mio xorg.conf, la mia scheda video è “ATI Mobility Radeon X1400” anche se il sistema usa driver vesa generici.
E’ possibile aggiornare i driver video??
