Buongiorno,
possiedo una chiavetta ‘onda tim’ autoinstallante compatibile con i kernel dal 2.6.22 al 2.6.31. Il kernel del mio pacchetto F15 è un 2.6.38 e non riconosce la chiavetta. Dovrei installare un kernel compreso tra i compatibili ma non sono riuscita fin’ora. Come devo procedere?

intendevo dire che non so interpretare l’output di dmesg, ma mi sembra che dica niente di buono… non mi dice nulla riguardo alla chiavetta, anzi c’è scritto ‘usb 1-5: USB disconnect, address 4’.
( Posso capire che magari le mie domande risultino essere un po’ imbecilli e lo ammetto, stò trovando parecchie difficoltà nel primo impatto con fedora…Ti chiedo un po’ di pazienza, se è possibile, grazie! 
)

Poi senza sfilare la chiavetta ridai un lsusb:

Intendevo proprio il nome.
Aggiungo che avevo contattato i tecnici del servizio clienti di onda e mi era stato detto che se il kernel non era compatibile dovevo istallarne un altro meno aggiornato per far funzionare la chiavetta dato che non ci sono per ora a disposizione aggiornamenti. Il mio kernel non è compatibile perché è un 2.6.38 mentre quelli accettati sono compresi tra il 2.6.22.x e il 2.6.31.x . Per questo motivo ho intitolato così il post, proprio perché avevo intenzione di installare un kernel più ‘vecchio’ ma non ero stata in grado di farlo.
