Riassumo per chi volesse partecipare a queste prove:

  1. due computer con F22 di nuova installazione e aggiornato
  2. a uno dei due è connessa una stampante laser (Samsung Ml-1610)

  1. test su condivisione schermo: aprendo l’applicazione Vinagre (condivisione schermo) non è detto che nella lisat trovi l’altro pc con il nome e soprattutto vi si connetta-- fate la stessa prova usando gli IP, quelli funzionano benissimo
  2. potete fare una prova analoga con il protocollo sftp in Nautilus, Connettere al server/ sftp://IP/home/nomeuser funziona se usate sftp://nomecomputer.local/home/nomeuser probabilmente no…
  3. in Nautilus provate a connettervi a Esplora rete e probabilmente non vedrete neppure il nome’public folder dell’altro computer apparire e nel caso cliccandoci sopra a me non si connette.

adesso provate a usare il comando

avahi-browse -a per vedere cosa viene condiviso e cosa no, fatelo… e dopo riprovate fermano il firewall e riavviando avahi…

systemctl stop firewalld systemctl restart avahi-daemon avahi-browse -a

Le stesse prove da 1 a 3 fatele adesso a firewall stoppato

da fujitsu vedo le condivisioni file di pcdesktop1, ma non vedo la stampante che invece funziona perfettamente se individuata con l’IP del pc cui è collegata.

Per la cronaca pcdesktop1 ha l’IP fisso (192.168.1.3) mentre il laptop fujitsu è in DHCP…cose strane, ad esempio se mi connetto con Vinagre dal laptop al desktop lo trova nella lista ma mi da un avahi timeout.

Io continuo a propendere per firewalld che blocca avahi…a casaccio :doc:

il firewall è correttamente settato ed avahi discrimina bene i dispositivi.

evidentemente nella rete c’è qualcuno o qualcosa che da numeri … e rimbabisce avahi
è presente qualche dispositivo microsoft o apple nella tua rete ? ( anche un cellulare )
giusto per dare la colpa a qualcuno …

no, nessun dispositivo microsoft, il router individua correttamente i devices sulla rete, pc, decoder, access points- e che ci siano o non ci siano collegati smartphone android non cambia di un millimetro il comportamento.E non posso dare neppure dare la colpa al router perché è stato cambiato (e non per questo motivo) e il comportamento è uguale. Tra l’altro mi sembra ridicolo che una rete possa rimbambire a causa di un Windows collegato o un Apple…che rete sarebbe?? only Linux??? ripeto, che se disattivo firewalld avahi funziona benissimo, adesso chi è il colpevole avahi o firewalld o entrambi assieme?? chiamo Murdoch?? :gratt:

Credo che sia improbabile, ma la butto lì… Hai provato con SELinux in permissive mode?

Inoltre… Quando riscontri la problematica, i log a livello di systemd dicono qualcosa di interessante?

eccezionali: adesso vinagre non funziona più nemmeno usando gli IP…qualcosa non funziona nel triaging dei bugs.Ma si sa questo è opensource. E neppure la connessione con sftp. Sempre meglio

Scherzi a parte, conosci benissimo il meccanismo e come funziona la comunitá, sarebbe bello che potessi dare di nuovo qualche consiglio utile soprattutto ai nuovi utenti come facevi tempo fa. Infatti leggendoti si potrebbe avere l’impressione che pure gli ambassador ora fanno pubblicitá negativa, ma forse é solo una mia impressione. Tanto so che dentro dentro sei totalmente blu, alcune cose sono davvero perfette e altre, come nelle migliori famiglie, funzionano meno bene. Non per questo peró dovremmo buttare tutto al vento, ma forse un piccolo contributo per cercare di migliorare anche solo una cavolatina, per altri utenti é la soluzione di un problema enorme.
Spero di rileggere presto un po’ di tua attivitá lassú, nel LUG o nelle scuole dove avevi cominciato qualcosa. Non questi sfoghi sul forum che non sono dell’antoniom che ho conosciuto io.

apriamo una cosa separata sulle scuole, che potrei scrivere un libro intero di stupidate…in cui credo che Fedora (ma sotto certi aspetti tutto Linux) sia in ritardo mostruoso o forse non interessa

Io ripeto il mio pensiero su chi dovrebbe risolvere i bug…alcuni sono proattivi (vedi i bug sulle stampanti risollti in un battibaleno) e altri ahinoi sono a dir poco assenti: se uno ha la sfiga di imbattersi in uno di loro sono cavoli amari!!
Io trovo che questo bug, che per me lo è, è assai grave e inficia una parte notevole della facilità d’uso…poi ovvio che se uno usa Fedora standalone e non in rete (oppure in rete mista con altri OS) di queste cose poco gli interessa.

E dico, possibile che tra di noi nessuno abbia una rete simile alla mia per riprodurre il tutto??

Ci sarebbe anche un altro punto: la morte dei LUG…o mi sbaglio??

mi sono permesso di darti una mano perché ho una situazione rete simile alla tua ( la mia è forse più estesa ).
configurato avahi e firewall tutto funziona perfettamente.
nessun bug.

il problema forse è da qualche altra parte.
