minimizzare nella tray

ho una richiesta un po particolare:

verrei minimizzare nella tray thunderbird come accade con amule, ma l estensione minimize to tray non funzione, credo perché ideata per windows, come posso ovviare il problema?

PS: uso gnome

Ovviamente consiglio di installare quello da extras

si ma mica ho capito come funziona…

L’hai installato. Ma hai verificato che fosse ciò che ti interessava?

si certo, è un programma che permette di minimizzare nella traycon i programmi in generale!

Interessante… C’è un modo per farlo funzionare anche con audacious o xmms? A me funziona con tutte le applicazioni che ho testato tranne quelli… forse perché han finestre “non standard”…

se ricordo bene devi dare un

alltray --configure

ti chiede di cliccare sul pulsante chiudi in alto a destra.
(finita la configurazione)

poi da terminale digiti

alltray <nome_programma> & 

e te lo trovi minimizzato
