[Risolto] filesystem pieno

ciao a tutti,
mi appare il messaggio che il filesystem è quasi pieno. Analizzando il disco risulta la cartella var piena con 15 gia di cui 12 giga della cartella cache. E’ una cartella importante? si puo svuotare o no?

Non si può cancellare una delle cartelle principali di sistema.
Mostraci l’output del comando

# du -sh /var/log/

ecco l’output:

Per verificare quali siano i log più corposi ci invio l’output di questo comando:

du -ks /var/log/* | sort -n

Le due cose sono in contraddizione. Parli di 12 giga nella cartella cache, quando l’intera /var ne occupa 1,2 (il 10%).

La cartella VAr risulta di 16 giga, non è in contraddizione

Utilizzi Gnome come ambiente desktop? Se si, proverei a verificare anche il “discutibile” comportamento di PackageKit in rapporto alla gestione della propria cache rilevato da diversi utenti.

Ok, verifichiamo nuovamente con

se la folder che “cuba” maggiore spazio è quella relativa a PackageKit, in seconda battuta possiamo eventualmente ridurre la dimensione del file del journal che ammonta ad 1 Gb.

P.S. Hai digitato male il secondo comando richiesto nel post precedente, potresti postare l’output corretto?
Se utilizzi sudo il comando va modificato così

Ragazzi non mi sapete aiutare?

Mi pare di capire che la maggior parte dello spazio è occupato da file di cache di packagekit e dnf.
Puoi provare così:

$ sudo dnf clean all
$ sudo pkcon refresh force -c -1

grazie mille con questi due comandi ho liberato spazio
