[Risolto] Hard disk USB 1TB Toshiba non viene montato

Salve a tutti,ho acquistato un hard disk USB Toshiba da 1 TB che non viene montato alla connessione del cavo. Anzi la cosa strana è che continua a “clickkare” ad intervalli di circa un secondo finchè non stacco il cavo. Dapprima ho pensato che fosse rotto ma poi l’ho provato su una Mint (in un PC più vecchio del mio) è va perfettamente. Anche con Windows è tutto OK. Premetto che non cambia niente se l’HD è partizionato o completamente libero.
Io uso Fedora 17, attualmente con kernel 3.5.3-1.fc17.i686.PAE.

collega il disco, dai da root un:

# modprobe usb-storage

subito dopo posta l’output di:

La situazione non migliora e l’HD continua a “clikkare”.

Fermi tutti, problema risolto!
O meglio, il problema rimane ma ho scoperto che connettendo l’HD ad una presa USB sul retro del case (anzichè una di quelle davanti) viene montato correttamente, quindi dovrebbe essere solo un problema di corrente non sufficiente sulle porte frontali (dannazz…@##!!).
