[Risolto] NetworkManager fedora15

Buongiorno,

ho da poco upgradato la mia vecchia fedora14 alla fedora15, funziona quasi tutto perfettamente, a parte NetworkManager.

Il problema èch enon mi fa proprio attivare la sceda wireless; di default parte su “OFF”, quando dal tasto rapido sulla barra in alto provo a metterlo in enable questo ci prova e poi fallisce rimettendosi in OFF subito.

ho provato a manipolare la configurazione da network-settigns ma anche là non è possibile mettere in on la scheda; che però come vedete è perfettamente rilevata dal sistema (e anticipo che è funzionante)

il sistema è perfettamente aggiornato all’ultimo pacchetto, yum update non mi fa aggiornare nulla, comunque ecco i pacchetti inerenti NM:

Come fai a dire che è un bug ?

non che io sappia; non so da dova venga quella acer; io ho un sony vaio. lspci comunque ne prresenta una sola.

ciao ho letto la discussione, ed ho downgradato il più possibile NEtworkManager; ora la versione è la seguente:

ma non funziona lo stesso, però penso che il probleman on sia lo stesso, a me network managere funziona con la rete via cavo, è che non riesce ad accendere la scheda wireless…

Ciao ho risolto.

notando che avevo lo stesso problema e modello del pc segnalati in questa discussione;

ho dato un:

rmmod acer_wmi

ora funziona, riesco ad accendere la wireless ed a vedere le reti e a collegarmi.

ho riupgradato il network manager, l’ultima versione non aveva quel bug. Il problema era il modulo.
