Scanner "Hp 3770 Scanjet" non riconosciuta!!

Ciao a tutti, il mio pc non riconosce lo scanner in oggetto e mi da il seguente errore: “Impossibie avviare lo scanner.Argomento non valido.”
Ho provato sia con “simple scan” che con “xsane” ma mi restituiscono entrambi lo stesso errore!!
riporto il responso di:

Hai già installato il pacchetto “libsane-hpaio”?

Prova un http://ftp.cyberbaladeur.fr/3770.tar.gz, sembra che questo scanner (oltre a essere vecchio) non venga più considerato per includerlo nel kernel.
Leggiti bene il file README, probabile che devi modificare il file di configurazione di SANE.

Strano!! ho uno scanner piu’ vecchio ovvero il modello precedente Hp Scanjet 3300C e con “simple scan” funziona perfettamente e senza problemi cosa che con il modello successivo mi sta dando problemi!! :eeek:
P.S.: leggendo il file Readme dovrei installare il driver non ufficiale con file sorgente che mi hai segnalato ?

ma hai dato un bel hp-setup?? che mi pare che gli scanner hp vogliano scaricare qualcosa di proprietario

No, magari mi daresti il comando giusto per eseguirlo forse con yum o con altro?

poi lanci il software hp che trovi tra i programmi e installi i plug-in extra.

ciao ho installato i suddetti pacchetti come da te segnalati ma una volta lanciato il programma “HPLIP” ho fatto una diagnosi e riporto qui di seguito l’output ma il plug-in extra non li vedo:

tra l’altro credo che l’op avrebbe dovuto fare le stesse operazioni anche sull’altro computer, dove funziona lo scanner

come vedete mi restituisce un errore.

l’altro scanner ovvero il modello 3300C dell’Hp l’ho provato sullo stesso computer che funziona senza problemi con il programma simple scan.
