sopcast rpm fedora 8

salve a tutti,
cercando un rpm per installare sulla mia fedora 8 il sopcast, ho trovato questo sito in cui ci sono moltissimi rpm (farà gola a molti)

Da qui ho scaricato finalmente l’rpm di qsopcast, l’installazione va a buon fine, ma quando cerco di aprirlo non accade nulla.

Aprendolo da shell la risposta è:
ALSA lib control.c:874:(snd_ctl_open_conf) Cannot open shared library /usr/lib/alsa-lib/libasound_module_ctl_pulse.so
qsopcast: sound.cpp:44: Sound::Sound(QObject*, const char*): Asserzione `elem’ fallita.
Abortito

non capisco se mi manca una libreria oppure occorre configurarlo in ALSA.

Naturalmente il tutto accade anche dopo aver riavviato il pc.

Qualcuno sa aiutarmi?

poichè è correttamente marcato come instabile, è lecito aspettarsi dei malfunzionamenti.

forse è meno problematico partire dai sorgenti e costruire un rpm ad hoc con checkinstall.
