oggi mi sto dedicando a letture su nuovi SSD in quanto, nel mio vaio, avrei intenzione di montarne uno. Posso già dire che è in fase di estinzione in quanto ha 3 anni di vita, acceso giorno e notte e comincia a fare rumorini (oltre al notevole rallentamento).
La prima cosa che vorrei chiedere è se mi potete spiegare l’output di smartctl.
L’ho effettuato sul portatile dove ho già l’ssd e volevo capire quanta vita fosse rimasta.

Penso che il comando vada bene anche sul disco meccanico.
Non so se dipenda dal fatto che sto provando su un SSD ma se provo a dare

A questo punto viene una domanda: visti i prezzi odierni dei 256 giga di SSD, avevo intenzione di metterlo nel vaio. Unico slot, sfortunatamente.
Su quel pc gira una macchina virtuale, praticamente tutto il giorno, che funziona come concentratore VPN (che sto ancora affinando in quanto ho alcuni problemi a connettermi da altri linux, ho aperto una discussione a parte giorni addietro).
Su un’altra partizione è presente finestre con cui, di tanto intanto, mi intrattengo con momenti ludici.
Dite che conviene, oppure è un azzardo ed è preferibile mettere nuovamente un meccanico?
