Per sicurezza copia l’intero HD con dd usando il DVD di Fedora in modalità recupero e esegui fsck per risolvere i vari problemi. Meglio esser cauti…

con che comando controllo il disco?

fsck /dev/sda/?

Prima di tutto, se hai dati che ti interessano, copiali altrove.
Nel frattempo io comprerei un altro hard disk per sostituirlo.
Un disco con settori danneggiati non è più affidabile.

Prima, usando il DVD di Fedora in modalità recupero, accedi come chroot al disco con installato Fedora. Poi usi dd per copiare i dati dal disco origine a quello di destinazione, installato precedentemente a computer spento. Usi fdisk per sapere esattamente quale è il disco origine e quello di destinazione. dd è PERICOLOSO! Dopo la copia dei dati, a computer spento, sconnetti il disco rigido rotto. Riaccendi e sempre usando il DVD di Fedora in modalità recupero, esegui fsck sulle singole partizioni mostrate da fdisk. Se la tua è stata una installazione standard, dovrebbero esserci una partizione di boot formattata in ext4 ed una seconda contenente i volumi logici /root, /home e /swap. Esegui fsck sulle prime due. Riavvii e senza il DVD di Fedora accedi a Linux in modalità recupero. Verrà effettuato un controllo per verificare lo stato delle partizioni curate da fsck ed un successivo riavvio da eseguirsi sempre in modalità recupero per la riettichettatura dei files per SELinux. Infine il riavvio finale. Per sommi capi è quello che devi fare.

stamattina, mentre comunque sto aspettando che mi arrivino le memorie ram e l’HD nuovo in modo da installarci sopra fedora 22, ho lanciato

su -c "dnf -y update"

invece del solito yum e pare, incrociando le dita, che sta facendo l’update…
estrapolo una parte :rolleyes:
